Message from the Mayor :
When we talk about Sainte-Thérèse-de-la-Gatineau, we think of the wonderful bodies of water and its magnificent landscapes made up of, among other things, sugar maple and white pine forests, which make it a destination of choice.
Lakes such as Trente et Un Milles (one of the most beautiful bodies of water in Quebec with its clear waters), Lac des Pères, Grand Lac Rond, Beaulieu, Marcelin, Michel and de la Vieille are very popular lakes. The Gatineau River is also another waterway that is gaining popularity for the whitewater activities it offers.
The Lac des Trentes-et-un milles white-tailed deer devastation is located, in part, in the municipality of Sainte-Thérèse-de-la-Gatineau. This devastation is considered the largest continental devastation in Quebec. The municipality has also set up a white-tailed deer interpretation centre that you can visit during a stay with us. We invite you to rediscover the centre by visiting our addition of a lake trout interpretation centre to its tourist offer. You can also enjoy nature by exploring our 14km of developed hiking trails.
"COME AND SEE!" is our motto and we hope that your visit to this site will be just the beginning of a long adventure...
We look forward to welcoming you to our home!
Mayor Roch Carpentier
